STORYLINE

Lover or Stranger is a 2021 Chinese drama that tells the story of Luo Qianyi, a highly talented young female violinist, and her fiancé, Huo Youze, a rich entrepreneur. The drama begins with an avalanche incident in Hokkaido, Japan, that takes Luo Qianyi down the mountainside, leaving her alive but with no memory. She needs reconstructive surgery and has to adjust to day-to-day chores at home. She also faces unusual things happening, such as mysterious messages thrown into her bathroom. Without knowing the sender’s name, she dubbed the person as Mr. Lavender. The messages mentioned “our old spot,” and she has no clue what they mean.
